Yellowtail teriyaki (rich and delicious finish)

Ingredients (for 2 people)

  • Yellowtail fillet: 2 slices
  • Soy sauce: 2 tablespoons
  • Mirin: 2 tablespoons
  • Sake: 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar: 1-2 teaspoons
  • Oil: small amount

Preparation (important)

  1. Lightly sprinkle salt on the yellowtail and let it sit for 5 to 10 minutes
  2. Wipe off any excess moisture with kitchen paper.
    This will reduce odor and make the teriyaki taste even better.

How to make it

  1. Add oil to a frying pan and fry the yellowtail skin side down
  2. Once both sides are browned,
    add soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar.
  3. Simmer over medium heat until the sauce thickens and becomes glossy, then turn off the heat
  4. Finish with a splash of MARBO GOLD
