MARBO HISTORY

- The story of the birth of MARBO GOLD -

The origin of everything is the deliciousness that has traveled the world

MARBO GOLD was born from one traveler's formative experience

Developer Masato Hirose traveled the world as a backpacker in his youth, experiencing
Asian street food, European home cooking, and the spice culture of the Middle East and Africa.
Even though he couldn't speak the language, there were always smiles at the dinner table.

"Delicious food makes people happy"

This simple and unwavering truth
became the core of the idea that would later give birth to "MARBO GOLD."

Traveling freely around Japan and facing food every day

After returning to Japan, Hirose traveled around Japan and plunged into the world of food and beverage, learning about
Hokkaido ingredients, the soy sauce culture that has taken root in each region, and the "correct taste" that differs from household to household.

One thing I learned through running a restaurant is
that "you shouldn't make food too difficult."

I realized that about deliciousness is
that it can be used in everyday life, rather than any special technique

The answer is garlic soy sauce powder

After much trial and error, they arrived at
garlic, soy sauce, and umami , a flavor deeply etched in the memories of Japanese people.

However, rather than using a liquid seasoning,
we decided to go with a powder.

  • Just shake to decide the flavor
  • Can be used in any dish
  • It is hard to make mistakes with the amount
  • Fragrant

We believe that this "ease of use"

A taste that has been destroyed and remade countless times

MARBO GOLD is not a product that is completed in one go

We changed the ingredients, adjusted the aroma, and

made repeated adjustments such as "I want a bit more umami" or "The garlic is too strong."

There was a time when the product was not ready,
but we never compromised and continued to pursue a flavor that we would truly want to use every day.

And finally, we arrived at
the premium all-purpose umami spice "MARBO GOLD."

We want to bring more smiles to people through delicious and fun food

There is only one thought that has been put into MARBO GOLD

"If cooking is fun,
smiles will naturally increase at the dinner table."

Not just for special occasion dishes, but
sprinkle it on your everyday meat, fish, vegetables, and soups.

Just doing that

will lead to conversations like , "It's delicious"
and "What did you put in this?"

MARBO GOLD
the "dining tables that bring smiles" that we have seen while traveling around the world
to Japanese homes .

To continue to evolve

MARBO GOLD is not a finished product.
MARBO is all about believing in the possibilities of food, trying things out, and continuing to improve.

It's delicious.
It's fun.
And you'll want to use it again.

I hope to continue swinging like this
